USA hockey is more akin to a mafia than anything else (FIFA-lite is what I call them). They try to control every active player and rink in the US and those that don’t fall in line are blackballed. They are also scumbags of the highest order.

This is the classic “convert cash into saleable assets” for the ultra rich of certain nationalities. I guarantee this house will be bought by some unnamed Asian, South American or Russian oliganch looking to park a few hundred million in a place outside their country’s jurisdiction. If everything goes tits up for them…
