I know on the national stage it was bad but seriously this guy isn’t lost in left field for the most part. It also isn’t like he never played LF before, he played a large chunk of his college games there. He will never be a plus defender and heck maybe never average, but he isn’t a walking error (NLCS not included).

While he was just God awful in left in the NLCS overall he was just under average out there on the year. Plus you can’t say this was because he is a bad LF because he actually had a good read on that ball. He just didn’t hear/ignored Fowler at the worst possible time.
