When did I become an old man?
When did I become an old man?
I know this post isn’t about it, but I’m going to use it as a soap box to talk about something that bothers me: the lack of unfrosted Pop-Tarts. Growing up, Pop-Tarts were almost universally unfrosted. When they became more common place, my mom refused to buy the frosted ones. That being said, we still ate Pop-Tarts,…
Is Bad Times at the El Royale the one that was basically trying really hard to be a Tarantino movie? As I recall it wasn’t BAD, in fact it was pretty decent, but that was the vibe I got from it: a Tarantino wannabe. But hey, a good wannabe of something great can still be okay, right? If it’s the movie I’m thinking of,…
Half the reason I got HBO Max and why I’ve liked it so much is because of its back catalogue. New management is making me really pessimistic about the future of HBO. It feels like it’s just going to turn into another lame platform that just churns out tons of cheap garbage for maximum profit. Ugh.
I agree, although I was disappointed by the Taiga level. I wanted it to be more open world like the Volga and the Caspian, but it was too linear. And also because I was going for the Ranger win I barely got to use the crossbow because I couldn’t kill most of the hostiles in that area.
I’m always typing “if” instead of “of” (at least on my phone).
I was very hesitant to test Colossus, not because I was worried HE would be destroyed, but I was worried it would try to destroy my next card. That did not happen.
Please welcome your new CEO Nole Ksum, from somewhere far away...
Games that were most popular when I was in college: Beer Pong / Beirut, Flip Cup, King’s Cup. Then there was also stuff like Speed Quarters, Thumper, and Civil War, but those were somewhat less common.
My rankings of his movies that I’ve seen:
I’ve never seen it, but I’ve read the synopsis and it sounds like the most heavy handed thing ever written.
Especially goat cheese.
Fried leipajuusto is often served with jam, so I get it.
But he said they’ll be gone very quickly!!!
I’m not buying them to boil, I’m buying them as ingredients in a recipe / baking or to make the occasional fried egg. And it’s not that often that I need them.
I like Whole Foods, but it’s a whole ordeal getting there. It’s farther away, the parking lot is a hassle to deal with, it’s more expensive, and they don’t have a lot various sundries that I can get at the Safeway down the street.
I just wish my local grocery store would sell them as half-dozens. I don’t need 12 eggs and can’t use them all before they go bad.
Is that pronounced “hero stratus” or “her-ros-trah-tuss”?
Madness reigns.
For V’s and B’s it’s opposite. You want small and tight, not big and loose.
