I’m also surprised no one chose the mint chocolate M&M’s. Those were the first thing I thought of. Always had them around Christmas.

I suppose I’ll go with Dennis even though I don’t particularly like Andes mints and I’m lukewarm on Junior Mints.. The mint Milanos are what saved him.
Boy, I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder!
I think you mean Maxwell Nerdstrom.
Whenever the monolith is not in an A.V. Club article, everyone should ask, “Where’s the monolith?”
Really? Not a single yeast infection joke?
I’m glad the most I’ve ever had to do to help prepare the food for Thanksgiving is open a can of cranberry sauce and help carve the turkey. When we would have big Thanksgiving meals with the entire extended family I would sometimes get to carve the deep fried turkey. I would be full before the meal even started from…
Being from Utica, I’ve never heard of this.
I drink most of my water from a 52 oz. insulated mug. I fill it up with ice water every night and drink from it throughout the night and the following day.
I like that this article solely exists for the author to brag about how another one of their articles was mentioned on TV.
Or 3 years old...
If it had opened on Corvus I would not have batted an eye. But if it had ended after he reached Corvus or that had been the climax I would think it strange or odd. If he had showed up on Corvus I just would have assumed it wasn’t the actual end of the road for him.
Well I primarily game on a PC. There’s not many games I’d rather play on a console. I did purposefully get Streets of Rage 4 on the Switch rather than PC, though. I like Sonic and got Sonic Mania too. I enjoyed the old Mario Parties for N64, but I’ve heard the latest one is kind of lame. I’ll probably get Mario Kart…
I mean, it’s not that different from a linear story to be honest. Standard structure of a story: introduce the character and the setting, the inciting incident, a series of obstacles they must face before reaching the climax where the problem is resolved. All of these monster-of-the-week episodes are the obstacles…
We had a Sega CDX and mostly used it to play Genesis cartridges. I think we had 2 actual Sega CD games, both of which used the Justifier: Mad Dog McCree and Lethal Enforcers. We also had a CD that had like 6 Genesis games on it like Streets of Rage and Ninja Gaiden and Golden Axe.
This is pretty much exactly how I feel. I’m also starting to get worried about my Switch too. I caved during the quarantine and bought one for like $100 or $150 over market value and I’ve gotten very little use out of it. I can’t seem to get into Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey. Animal Crossing is okay I…
I haven’t owned a ton of consoles and most of them have been great. I see a lot of mention of the Wii U which just tells me that I was right to pass on that from the beginning. Never had any interest in getting it.
You’re absolutely correct, but yeah, doesn’t stop it from being ridiculous.
As a kid I had never even heard of Texas Hold’em. We always played 5 card draw.
I don’t even get how such a tell could even happen. It was as if he was intentionally doing it. “I’m bluffing right now, so I’m not going to eat this cookie.”
