I mean, it’s not that different from a linear story to be honest. Standard structure of a story: introduce the character and the setting, the inciting incident, a series of obstacles they must face before reaching the climax where the problem is resolved. All of these monster-of-the-week episodes are the obstacles

We had a Sega CDX and mostly used it to play Genesis cartridges. I think we had 2 actual Sega CD games, both of which used the Justifier: Mad Dog McCree and Lethal Enforcers. We also had a CD that had like 6 Genesis games on it like Streets of Rage and Ninja Gaiden and Golden Axe.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. I’m also starting to get worried about my Switch too. I caved during the quarantine and bought one for like $100 or $150 over market value and I’ve gotten very little use out of it. I can’t seem to get into Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey. Animal Crossing is okay I

I haven’t owned a ton of consoles and most of them have been great. I see a lot of mention of the Wii U which just tells me that I was right to pass on that from the beginning. Never had any interest in getting it.

You’re absolutely correct, but yeah, doesn’t stop it from being ridiculous.

As a kid I had never even heard of Texas Hold’em. We always played 5 card draw.

I don’t even get how such a tell could even happen. It was as if he was intentionally doing it. “I’m bluffing right now, so I’m not going to eat this cookie.”

The most realistic poker movie is clearly Maverick where while playing 5 Card Draw, in one hand, one player gets a four of a kind, another gets a straight flush, and the third gets a royal flush.

It’s clearly that stuff from The 5th Element that drips down Zorg’s forehead when he talks to “Mr. Shadow.”

Best by March 2019 and it’s looking a little dried out if you can believe it.

There’s a restaurant nearby that offers delivery TV dinners. When my wife and I are having super busy weeks we’ll sometimes order dinner from them and order two additional TV dinners to have for dinner the next day. They’re a lot better than what you’d get from a supermarket (but also like 3 times the price).

That explains why I didn’t get introvert. I’m not big into soups and whatnot.

You’re not even mentioning Garlic bread! (or Gyoza and Grilled cheese for that matter)

I am definitely not an extrovert.

But what if he likes Brussels sprouts?! Yuck!

I think you mean junk drawers. We have several. Hell, I think of the drawers at my work desk more than one of them can be considered to be a junk drawer.

SCREAM5 as in Screams.

Yeah, colchicine is only for an acute flare up and you may as well be home in bed because you’re gonna be having constant diarrhea. Allopurinol is meant to be taken regularly to lower uric acid, but I believe it’s pretty hard on your kidneys so you have to drink a ton of water everyday.

It’s turning me off from ever buying a Roku product again. I can get the same functionality out of a different product. I can’t get HBO content anywhere but HBO.

Remember when people complained about having to order cable packages and wanting a la carte content?
