Well you beat me for most pathetic person in New York today. I only played Donkey Kong Country on Gameboy Color. And I never beat it because I’m bad at platformers.

I am currently inebriated, and had to watch the Zelda clip three times before I realized what was otherwise just a stupid Hinox/Guardian encounter was indeed, something totally stupid and insane.

I remember playing this on the Gameboy Advance, considering it was the flagship launch title (despite it being a glossy remake) and it was my first true Mario platformer at the time. I mean, such great level design, Wart being the bad guy and well, come on, Birdo! This game was ahead of it’s time.
