I don’t get it. Teak is illegal I thought
She was on Fresh Air and she sounded more exhausting even then most of the guests on Fresh Air.
If you’re like me, you need a mental reset every time you see one of the Sarsgaard or Skarsgard actors:
Am I the only person wondering about the street facing bathroom with the full length window in the shower and no privacy screen? Also the bathtub in the backyard?
Try Apartment Therapy, they have more realistic houses than AD.
I actually find them both to be rather innocuous, even maybe nice, people. They used to come into the Spotted Pig for brunch basically every weekend while she was preggo and after they had their baby came in so we could all meet her. I like them and hope they arent getting divorced.
Full renovation.
Hell Yes I did! What the???
I enjoy her in some of her roles (especially Secretary and The Honorable Woman), but I would like to be far away from both of them.
It would be refreshing if ONE pair of hip Brooklyn celebrities were like “We have kids and indie film money. This place would cost $15 million in the West Village and we found it here for under $5 million.”
Yes. It was like he’d never touched a cat before. He just kind of dropped/flung it away. Peter Sarsgaard does not care for cats.
Who taught him how to hold a cat?
Fireplaces seems woodsy and happified, but they are super-polluting.
So - what’s the point of this piece? To bitch about the home of two people you don’t know and how they came across as awkward? Journalistic standards high as usual at Jezebel.
Very possible. But this house is on the market, and doing a feature in AD is almost part of the selling material when putting a place like this on the market.
And it can be yours for a mere $4.6M.
This has nothing to do with their house, which is beautiful, but I used to live in Park Slope and would often see Sarsgaard running in the park. He’s got great legs.
“it makes me want to dig a hole in the ground and take a vacation there.”
