Why would they? The new zelda is on both platforms. Nintendo caters to the casual market, including those who cant afford a new switch so they might buy a wii u for zelda.

Wow this strike ontop of poor working conditions, poor pay, early access scams, dlc schemes and out right bad games marketed as GOTY really paints a true picture of the industry. And it wont change, gamers have to have their fix and nobody can tell publishers and devs what to do as the money pours in.

Except none of that matters, any “extra” cash will always be spent on marketing instead of proper pipeline procedures especially in AAA gaming.
