I'll buy anything that Jenny is involved in for the rest of her career. I've only heard the first 4 songs so far, but this is a fun album and a very different direction than The Voyager. I like it.

So, I'm not going to get into the Woody Allen stuff or anything else that you said, but I, too, heard the "child rape must be awesome" joke and it has pretty much forever ruined C.K. for me. I can't watch or listen to him anymore without hearing that.

Fuck guns. Fuck psychopaths. Fuck 2016. Being a long time fan, this one hits hard. Rest In Power, Christina.

Cool. Thanks for the well thought out and reasoned response. I definitely get where you're coming from. I just find it repetitive and a bit alienating when so much of every review does this. As Saturn says below me, albums don't exist in a vacuum, and I get that. But the majority of this review (and several others for

Everyone has associations that they make throughout their lives. Maybe The Con came out when they were in high school and it helped them through a breakup, for example. So they associate songs with time periods or feelings or emotions. But, also, people grow and evolve. I find it selfish for people to want artists to

Oy. I don't understand some of the reviews/comments around this. "The songs are good, but I wish it was more like ______ (insert old album here)." There's so much criticism of artists when they do something different than their "big" album or their "critically acclaimed" album. Actually, Chris Carrabba and the other

Jesse Hassenger,
Love the choice of Jenny Lewis. No mention of her new band though. If you haven't heard, check out Nice as F#ck. It's Jenny, Tennessee Thomas, and Erica Forster.

Did Brett Ratner go there too? He says things equally as stupid as Bay and Snyder, and also makes movies equally as terrible. My favorite Ratner thing is when he said he used to date Olivia Munn "before she was Asian". That's definitely as dumb as "Kate isn't so attractive as to alienate the female audience."

*raises hand* Same, dude. Same. At the time, I was like "who's this old dude with Puffy? And why can he shred?"

Agreed. I got lucky and grabbed it before DatPiff had to take it down. But yeah, exclusive streaming is annoying. To be fair to Chance, it's his way of "commercially releasing" the album to become eligible for a Grammy. But it still sucks for us.

It's Apple Music (streaming) exclusive for two weeks. After that it'll be free everywhere. It was up on DatPiff and HNHH for a minute, but they both had to take it down.

Don't care what anyone says, this is fire. My favorite release of the year so far. Noname kills her verse. And surprisingly, none of the other guest verses are really groan-worthy. I think AcidRap's biggest weakness was that some of the guests had some really terrible lines. There's none of that here. It's all so much

Bino does a freestyle to that beat on Sway in the Morning, and there are some pretty good lines in there, including
"Black and white, that's a zebra cake".

Does anyone actually know what the Colbert feature is? Is he just in the choir in Blessings 2?

Thanks. I saw that after I posted. Unfortunate situation, but Chance gotta snatch that Grammy. I'm sure it'll be back up after the Apple exclusivity ends.

Noname kills it on Blessings mk 2. She's like Lauryn Hill 2016.

I'm pretty sure De La gave their entire catalog out for free a while back, just for signing up for their email list.

If this is a serious question, the mixtape is free on DatPiff (uploaded by Chance himself, or at least his account). It's "streaming exclusive" on Apple right now, but it's still free for download.
