Not every program is worthless. I use Airmail and love it. Though, I'm assuming Linus would die inside if he used anything other than Linux so I doubt he has many options. Personally, I never found any mail client of worth in Linux.

To be honest I was hoping for a more refined UI. I like the concept, but a straight port of the web app is kind of a disappointment. It's the same sort of thing Sunrise Calendar - I love it on my mobile, but there are much more powerful desktop programs available.

I really wish they would refresh the Macbook Pro lineup. I've recently been using a mac at my new job along with the usual windows/linux machines and I absolutely love it. The hardware is a bit on the old side (6 years), but it run's pretty well given the internals.

There's a good chance that's because the lights from your electronics are ruining your natural sleep cycle. The brain interprets lights as sunlight and thus assumes you still need to be awake.
