Oh man I just realized there's a whole segment of the population who are heavily into aquariums and lord their knowledge of them over other people in smug superiority.
Wow, that actually would be a fantastic job. It wouldn't be quite as edgy or flashy as designing a website for a major tech giant, but I think the direct impact you have on such a large swath of people would be extremely satisfying. Especially if you were in charge of the design for websites that have a direct impact…
Does it really though? I've never been asked during the hiring process how much I'm currently being paid. I had one or two hint at it during the interview process, but I deflected it back at them. Personally I don't really think it's any company's business how much another is paying you. Have them pay you by what…
I remember playing this game and seeing the intro. At the time the graphics of the movie blew my little kid mind.
Not every program is worthless. I use Airmail and love it. Though, I'm assuming Linus would die inside if he used anything other than Linux so I doubt he has many options. Personally, I never found any mail client of worth in Linux.
To be honest I was hoping for a more refined UI. I like the concept, but a straight port of the web app is kind of a disappointment. It's the same sort of thing Sunrise Calendar - I love it on my mobile, but there are much more powerful desktop programs available.
*ahem*
This is actually surprising, I had no idea it ran XBMC. A pretty clever use for a lackluster console.
I use an iMac at work andAirmail is a god send to keep out of my organization's clunky Exchange interface. I could get Outlook for Mac, but... it's not nearly as nice as Outlook 2013. While I agree, on most computers it's kind of unneeded there are really a few situations where a dedicated mail client is useful.
"O brave new world," he repeated. "O brave new world that has such people in it. Let's start at once."
Never change.
I've tried all the major phone OSes over the years (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) and never cared for Android. However, I went ahead and bought a Moto X a little after it released and I absolutely love this phone. The design is great, build quality is outstanding (it's survived numerous falls sans case), and the…
Pardon? I don't follow.
I don't get this purchase at all. Beats are a brand that people who don't know what they are doing buy. It's a brand that subsists itself entirely off of kids who want what's "cool" and suburban parents who think their precious middle schoolers know quality.
There's this thing called sensationalism. The theory is that if people can bait you on clicking on an article they make money - regardless of if you enjoy it.
It won't let me use the promotion on the Nighthawk - apparently it's email restricted.
The current specs meet my needs but why buy something that's due for a refresh?
I really wish they would refresh the Macbook Pro lineup. I've recently been using a mac at my new job along with the usual windows/linux machines and I absolutely love it. The hardware is a bit on the old side (6 years), but it run's pretty well given the internals.
There's a good chance that's because the lights from your electronics are ruining your natural sleep cycle. The brain interprets lights as sunlight and thus assumes you still need to be awake. The best way to solve this would be to have a cut off point for using electronics (but seriously, how likely is that?)…
