I agree. Parabolic motion is super under-utilized in games as the primary movement function. I just recently played Spiderman 2 on PS2 a few days ago and swinging around the map is still super fun. Same things with an “A Story about my Uncle” a really solid and fun mechanic.

When you’re creating something effort shines through above all. Games are supposed to be engaging and fun when you’ve got that everything else is just gravy.
