First World Problems

More than anything, the biggest change is how much higher the belt line is (scale is as close as I can get with MS Paint). It adds a ton of visual mass over older trucks.

Imposing that sound on everyone around them is the number 1 feature that buyers of Challengers and Camaros, and to a lesser extent Mustangs, are after. It’s more important than speed, power or anything else.

As someone who unfortunately shares a neighborhood with an (insert salty adjective here) Harley guy that loves to make it known to everyone he’s a Harley guy every non-rainy day possible, yes, I agree. Obnoxious engine noise is annoying. I’m not a kid anymore.

It’s a cool gimmick, but a gimmick nonetheless. I wish they’d just embrace their new EV identity. If Dodge wants V8 sounds, then they should keep making V8 coupes and sedans.

Yeah trucks sound like utter shit even with exhausts, then you got idiot straight pipes and massive sound fools. I love me a good sounding exhaust but faking it on an EV is soooooooo lame. 

Yeah, as much I love the sound of a high performance engine, the jackasses that race between stop signs in my neighborhood at 11pm are extremely annoying. To have to hear something that sounds like a vacuum cleaner’s belt drive instead would be even more annoying, especially when you know it’s literally NOTHING but…
