My thoughts exactly: two walk in, one walks out and the other gets a memorial service.

Anyone specifically considering an X1/9 is not cross-shopping Miatas. They’re probably also not looking at 1st gen MR2's. Anyone looking at the X1/9 is either chasing a dream from their childhood or buying another one to relive good times.
I agree, it debuted during a transitional period. The Aptera however makes it look like a garage hacker effort in comparison - and I kinda liked the Elio initially.
This assemblage of polygons is an insult to Deloreans everywhere.
You meant to type “Elio”. Aptera however are about to deliver a truly revolutionary, mostly solar powered car.
Same here. The pride I felt years ago seeing Teslas on the streets of Düsseldorf and watching Space-X rockets land themselves has been replaced with a grinding fear that billionaire sociopathic man-babies like Musk are the new normal.
My wife loves her Mazda B2300 pickup with steel wheels. I treated her by having them freshly powder coated with new shoes a few months ago, way better looking than any alloy wheel you could put on this Ranger derivative.
It is a bit pedantic to correct anyone calling them ‘steelies’ if they’re stamped alloy, but if…
Admittedly I’m pushing people’s buttons by posting my amazing deal on a very limited purpose vehicle. Then again, I know its climb in value will be swift and chances are it’ll be as reliable as any Civic. I don’t recommend any single moms buy a 30 year old Z unless they have a safety net of some sort or write for…
Well that’s reassuring. I feel I’m stepping into the void with this one.
Apropos of nothing, I once exited a relationship with a Corolla owner I wasn’t willing to fully commit to. I do admit a factory warranty & stellar history of reliability and thriftiness are compelling reasons to buy one.
Financing definitely has its time & place. Flip side is I know too many people who don’t necessarily need to buy a new $30k car but do so anyway because “warranty”.
Similarly, a minivan is not the answer to our problem.
This $20,000 price point is absurd. Here’s our new-to-us $8k 300ZX. Patience, luck and an adventurous spirit pays off.
Fascinating topic, but the opening subheadline:
For the record, The Pike Factory Nissan S-Cargo is based on the B11 Station Nissan Sunny chassis produced from 1982 to 1990, not Micra. The S-Cargo shares the B11 Sunny’s front-wheel drive layout, 1.5-liter E15S engine, and 3-speed automatic transmission.
What you said: I wouldn’t be caught dead in one of his douche-mobiles. There’s far too many great alternatives to Tesla at this point, and I’m already guilty of enriching him with my purchase of a Tesla 15kw solar array a few years ago, a decision I now regret.
So the idea that a toxic, far-right fascist aligned CEO could drive away customers makes you “roll on the floor laughing”. Is it that you don’t know what the acronym stands for - or are you just a simple troll?
Our boffins over at Mighty Car Mods stuffed a EZ36 flat-6 into a wagon just like this one, so if you’re willing to spend a few months wrenching on one you too could cosplay Marty.
A link to the BE-1 would be nice as it was accidentally omitted.
Basically what I wrote but with more cursing.
