How about I strafe your house with train horns at 3am?

Well since we’re on the subject ...

You’re right - $7500 is too much. Yes the 2 door is rare and really cool looking but still, his ask is too high. That said, here’s ours. New timing belt, 150k miles, cold AC, shiny blue paint and it comes with Lexus ES300h rims + the original set of you don’t like the new ones. All for $3750 - the no haggle price.

There’s another work-around that combines the flexible battery power of a hybrid with a turbo without any turbo lag: the hybrid electric turbocharger. I’m truly astonished that none of the big 3 are using this tech (yet) as it’s poised to revolutionize powertrains.

Totally love riffs on what could have been. Anyone here familiar with Alt/1977?

I’m relieved that it wasn’t a C4.

Hi! Is it weird that countless pages have been written about the phantasmagorical mid-engine Corvette but nobody’s mentioned the *other* GM mid-engined sports car: the Fiero? I’ve seen Fieros with V8 swaps at car shows that could’ve stomped Corvettes on a track, especially the revised ones from 1988.

I lay blame predominately on those who voted for Commander Bonespurs: the FOX News generation. The ones who didn’t vote are Schroedinger’s cat voters: unknowable, could go either way.

Gil Scott-Heron couldn’t explain better why there might’ve been mixed sentiments at the time about the moon landing.

I don’t have a scientifically vetted % of Boomers that are assholes. This I can assure you: your generation put President Dumpster Fire into office and your generation is the one watching FOX News and your generation is the last one to enjoy entitlement programs that were well funded.

You had a senior moment: nowhere did I say “all” baby boomers. Let me quote ... me:

Thanks for sharing that. Let your father know that the next round of drinks is on me.

It’s not ‘broad generalizations’ when it’s a first hand observation. I’m surrounded by Boomers who clearly communicate their disdain for Millenials and then laughably and without perceiving the irony in it, call them entitled.
Apologies if you’re not an asshole, but a large % of your generation are.

Gen-X here: took me forever to pay off my student loans and I graduated into a crashing market two decades ago of temp agencies and multiple gigs to keep me afloat, so I have all the empathy for today’s struggling Millenials. I absolutely loathe Boomers and their easy attainment of homes / education / status during

Thx for posting this. SG Collins is a friend - and he oddly resents the success of this video’s success overshadowing the acclaim of projects he worked far harder on. Go figure!

Collins’ points re. the difficulty (impossibility) of 100% seamlessly faking a lunar landing with 1960's primitive film effects versus the

God what a pedantic killjoy. Nobody here is dumb enough to not know that duh, yeah of course there’s up-front expenses ... which are then all quickly erased by the ROI of literally free energy. But you had to go and comment anyway like a wannabe Ben Shapiro.

C’mon man, don’t you know that this is a Jalopnik article you’re commenting on? Jalop writers and the commentariat get excited about Transformers movies for füqsake. I’d rather watch Death Race 2000 10x than sit through F&F again ...

I was replying to you.
