I sold my green Insight after 13 years and 150,000 miles of adventures. Some cross country trips averaged 70mpg and it was always a crowd pleaser - except for the occasional cowboy in a lifted truck who thought I was a communist. LHT Performance is the new owner - they specialize in K20 to Insight engine swaps. You

Good grief, read the reviews on this! Chances are it’ll leave a big gnarly ring on your dashboard IF you’re lucky enough that the portion of your dash its adhered to doesn’t chemically react and break off.

NPOCP End Of Year Review FTW! As the proud former owner of the K20 220hp Insight that received a right-good buggering from Jalops in basements all across the country, I hereby agitate for this to be a thing!

MB Tex is miraculous. I bought a hella-dirty 300SD with years of mechanic grease and dirt ground into it. I pulled the seats out and scrubbed them with Purple Power and removed the carpets and soaked them in the same solution & voila, good as new. Haynes says that the torque spec for my ‘99 Subaru Legacy’s harmonic balancer / pulley is 80 ft lbs. So that’s what I torqued it to when I replaced my timing belt. About a month later a funny rattling caught my attention under the hood and some sleuthing revealed that pulley flopping around on the verge of flying off

I’m now inspired & will promptly put mine there too!

Just last night I was trying to submit this Datsun 210 to Herr Rob Emslie as a Nice Price Or Crack Pipe candidate but the rob@jalopnik.com address keeps bouncing with the error “could not be found”. Hmmm.

No matter how hard I squint, this fails to look like a postal delivery jeep.

Nevada, me thinks.

The real, actual reason Florida suddenly became THE state of moronic crimes: Florida’s lawmakers thought it would be a good idea to be the 1st state to have ‘open records’ laws for crime.

Trust me, had either Nevada or New Jersey been progressive enough back in the day to put its crimes into easily accessible public
