a tyler post about the LCS, lets see if its pouty, mad, and misinformed

found the person who doesnt live in the cold

found the person who doesnt live in the cold

the noise they make is horrible on tv, they are slow as shit, and the whole thing is a horrible marketing gimmick... but the laughably bad street circuits and good drivers comically piling into each other during the races has certainly been entertaining. gotta give em that.

it looks a lot better in pictures than it does in the press rendering.

syck burn bud

like i said, minor changes. Elkins said before he left that the goal was to rubberstamp GT3 cars with basically just a new rear wing and a different inlet restrictor. thats hardly going to break the bank for the million+ it takes to run a GTD program anyway. and unedited GT3s are the goal for next year.

"shameless self promoter and salesman self promotes"

'nascar' has been actively courting pretty much any manufacturer with a GT3 spec car. if toyota wanted to stroll in and run a GT3 homologated car in GTD, USC would gladly open the door for them with only minor changes, just like they did for Aston/TRG and BMW/Turner.

nice, nice

got any more unfunny casual racism?

first sentence right, second sentence wrong

and people say that american cars are low-tech and poorly engineered.

its 2015, nobody gives a shit about this anymore btw

its 2015, nobody gives a shit about this anymore btw

GTLM is performance balanced, all of the cars are fast as hell. and they've got a pretty stiff climb with Corvette/Pratt and Miller, Porsche/Walker+CORE, BMW/Rahal, Ferrari/Risi, and Aston/TRG.

that grill/vertical front end are fucking horrid

without some more money and more teammates/testing, probably not. theres too many part failures that can happen, as weve seen the last few years. im still hoping a manufacturer will badge his stuff again to give him the resources he needs.

nobody watches or cares about the WEC GT outside of lemans. TUSC is actually the more competitive series for the spec.

yes, its the same 'block', but a friendly reminder that the version you see racing is absolutely nothing like the one in street form, regardless of what marketers try very hard to have you believe.

lotta good dogwhistle racism in this comment thread, good job guys

'car nerds' vs 'car drivers' at work right there.
