The idea of moving the compressor away from the exhaust isn't brand new, its been experimented with a few times (for example, with the Offy IndyCar engine in the late 60s) but I don't think it ever ran. The problem back then was the connection between the turbine and compressor, as running a shaft through an engine

the CX9 was far from the only car in class to do poorly in this new test. honestly, pretty much everyone did poorly with a few exceptions (the ever safety obsessed/awesome Volvo for example).

yes says me, the wizard of piss 69.

goddamn, some of y'all need to toughen the fuck up.

If that parking area were, say, a series of mixed use developments, it would not only generate revenue via property tax increases, but the people who lived there 24/7/365 would be spending a WHOLE lot more money in the area than the average po-dunk family driving into downtown on the weekend and buying a $3 trinket

best fix for all of the terrible windows 8 design decisions: stop using windows 8, its goddamn garbage. hth.

oh jesus, nice histrionics. its not fuckin post apocalyptic in all of mexico.

HSR does have a future in the US, but it likely won't boom like it has elsewhere in the world until the US adjusts the gas tax to cover the true cost of driving. That adjustment, however, is actually coming sooner than people think.

I'd rather ride long distance in a 737 than in the middle coach seat of a 777 in 2-5-2 configuration. There is no worse hell.

I'm all for building more mass transit, but freeway centerline transit is rarely the way to go for an isolated system like this. They would be better off building a central LRT line, or using the billion to massively increase Music City Star commuter rail service in the region.

fox bodies are, and will forever be, gross redneck machines. the fox is lucky that the mustang II exists to keep it from being the worst mustang.

'woman worship', fuckin lol.

sings in a huge band, has unlimited stacks of money. same ol' methods as always.

its 2014, not 1990. poland buys roughly as many new cars as sweden, and its rapid economic growth has made it a big target for euro car makers.

arguing that a shitty stupid thing you do has a long and storied history doesnt make that shitty stupid thing you do any less shitty or stupid.

any time they put stuff like this to a public vote, they always end up with the worst garbage.

2012. and no. the manufacturers were all for it. the entire point of NASCAR's tight regulations that date back decades is to keep costs down and keep the playing field level. but with nobody making high performance carburetors anymore, it was actually costing the engine builders MORE to develop, design, and construct

pretty sure that misses the point

making sure your missiles work on what they are supposed to work on is a huge waste of money? great, thanks for the input.

they dont use carburetors.
