USCR and IndyCar would love to run at all sorts of tracks, but finding places with the attendance, sponsors, and promoters that can make it happen is an entirely different animal. This is a business afterall... IndyCar/USCR won't run if they lose money, promoters wont promote races if they lose money.

Pretty much everyone knew this was coming with the convention scheduling and stuff, but its still a shame. American racing needs tracks that can pull fans.

Free sat TV and power plugs in every seat is an absolute game changer. I won't fly without em. Plus the extra legroom, plus the nicer seats, plus the better staff, plus the nicer check in process, plus the still cheap price... if Virgin flies there, I'll pay the tiny bit extra to fly with them. Every time.

The drivers themselves disagree. They are nearly unanimous in wanting less downforce and more power so that they can make the difference, and they are the ones that wanted the ill handling cars on superspeedways to avoid the megapacks and mega wrecks. Downforce doesn't equal passing or safety. In fact, far from it.

The cars are meant to handle poorly. Thats the entire point. This is a spec series, and its spec for the purposes of containing costs (budgets 1/15th of Formula 1 per car) and maintaining the drivers role in the car. An ill handling car means the driver has to make the difference.
