You'd be wrong then. Don't rely on polls for an accurate reflection of how actual votes will go.

Not a chance. It's more likely that Sanders takes the nomination and takes both NH and Iowa.

Less polling, more media bias. Notice the myth perpetuated by the media that Sanders is not a legitimate threat for the nomination and is unelectable in the general. Notice how often it gets repeated in polls and comments. Just have to keep correcting people that the opposite is actually true.

Interesting since Sanders has a strong chance of taking the nomination. As far as complacency Clinton is already expecting to win so that is a given. What's more interesting is that Clinton has no legitimate chance of winning the general while Sanders does. Yet the corporate media keep trying to perpetuate the myth

Bernie has been slowly gaining in the polls since the beginning and that will only continue with more debates and as primaries get closer. Polls at this point are meaningless.

As a New Hampshire dweller who loves Bernie Sanders and cannot wait to vote for him, this headline makes my morning even happier. I don’t participate in phone polls (in general, I don’t talk politics with strangers - er, unless it’s on Jezebel, I guess!), nor do most people I know, who are also Bernie supporters. So

Clinton was leading Obama by 20 points in polls the day he won the Iowa Primary. Anything can happen

I love all the early politicking surrounding the primary states. I fully believe that the states that are first are way too homogenous to play such an important role in the presidential process, but I also love all the drama. I love that Hill-dog just can’t get certain states behind her. I love that no-chance

Because right wing authoritarianism or social dominance orientation which tend to be predictors of this kind of discriminatory based behaviour are personality traits and not recognised mental illnesses.

Because mental illness is not learned like hatred and racism, and unfortunately for those with mental illness, it cannot be unlearned - hatred and racism can be if the person is willing to open their mind. People with mental illnesses are far more likely to be the victim of crimes than the perpetrators. Labeling hate

I’m with you on this!

As a mentally ill person I want to bake this woman an amazing cake. This man is not mentally ill, and that would just be a way for Fox and even progressive outlets to ignore the changes and evolution that has occurred in American racism.

I just find it weird that the South has the most pro-military stance, support the troops, etc., yet large swathes of the region take pride in a time when they openly committed treason and started a war that led to the death of hundreds of thousands of those soldiers.

Thanks for putting how I feel into words! I am born and raised in North Carolina, and love so much about my state (its recent politics notwithstanding...) I don’t see how it is threatening to so-called “Southern Pride” to decry racism and a symbol of racism, slavery, and disgusting, violent oppression. Be proud of our

I live in the South at the moment and could not agree more. I never thought I’d say that New Yorkers are more hospitable than Atlantans, but they sure as shit are.

Yes! The South is my home and very dear to me, but you know what? Among the things I love about it is not *that time when it fired on the US military and started a terrible, violent war in defense of slavery.* Fellow Southerners — let’s just admit, it wasn’t our *best* four years. We’ve had better.

I’m not saying that. Suburbs, hood ... they are both a part of the black experience. It’s diverse (I grew up in the suburbs ... so....)

But the genetics thing? a huge source of pseudoscience—

Arguably, genes aren’t enough to determine the “race.” There are many black people who discovered that most of their genetic ancestry traces to Europe, even more so than some white people’s. Or, you have cases with twins in which one is black and the other one white. They have the same parents, and therefore, the same

So, what you have said is what I am now expecting. I hope i am wrong, but dont know why i hope that she believes that she is black. Part of me is furious that she did this, and will now get to return to her life if she chooses as a victim. This has already been used by the most ignorant of people as a reason to

@sid9221: Yeah, I want to know which one I REALLY look like.
