That’s probably why you don’t see high-end animators and graphic designers doing their work at a coffee shop. Well, that and the fact that they have an office.

Oh, I’m pretty sure that most games don’t have 100% Original assets. I’d be willing to bet that 99.9% of realistic games have used a texture image from cgtextures.com in some way. And, I heard from the developer’s mouth that, if they can purchase assets and modify them to work in their game then they’ll do that

They’re being built at the Henson Creature Shop? We’re dead now.

They’re not almost identical though. Each one has a new set of mechanics, each one advances the lore of the setting.

The games are like between 5 and 10 bucks and regularly go on sale for cheaper and they tell one story, I think. Maybe just think of it breaking up and releasing the game in parts.

Lot of time for the guy. People who give him abuse for “selling out” or some crap are kidding themselves if they think they wouldn’t do the same. I won’t pretend to enjoy the games or the culture they’ve spawned (or helped spawn, with Amnesia) on Youtube but... man, the guy saw a business opportunity, an opportunity

Every creepypasta has an author, they don’t just come out of thin air!

I worked QA for years. $15 an hour sounds really high. Some QA folks that I know are right now making $9 an hour. They are worked many long hours, and treated as disposable.

Getting PTSD flashbacks reading this article.

As a current QA Lead Tester... Amen to this entire god damn article.

I though this was real and made with lego :(

What’s next? The cover of Variety?

Well yeah, thanks, I know; I can read, you know. :) I still thinks that thing looks (a bit) like a Homeworld cruiser. From that particular angle, at least.

I constantly keep thinking to myself, “is this from the original Homeworld game or what? I don’t quite recognize the shape. I know it’s not the Homeworld 2 battlecruiser.”

Uhh

One of my favorite quests was Agatha’s Song. Receiving the radio frequency of the violin music was one of the most rewarding things I did in this game.

Don't you mean #FISTworldproblems? I'll see myself out (slams door).
