Hi, I'm an authorized tech for Apple computers, but I don't have to be in order to check the specifications on the CPUs used in Apple computers and verify that they run at their rated speed and power settings. Example, the Macbook Air comes with an Intel Core i5 4250U CPU rated at 1.3GHz with a Turbo Boost of 2.6.

I would guess they are in fact total failure rates, i.e. even including issues with an unclear cause, such as liquid corrosion from an evaporating liquid (hello vodka) or hard drive failures due to soft violence. Perhaps it even includes actual abuse - sorry, I mean "accidental damage".

Portable computers are bad like

People don't carry Xboxes around with them. Compare laptop failure rates with portable gaming system failure rates.

Not in fifteen years they're not. Will you keep your PS4 that long? Perhaps you will. Perhaps you will consider swapping the drive again at that time.

And we are at that point that it takes 13 seconds to load about a billion times more data than it took one second to load in 1986.

Soo... still good. I'm thinking that the GIF up top is four to five times larger than the largest NES game ever made.

Steam Machines.

That's laser scanned? Doesn't seem to do much for the looks, but I recognize the need for faithfulness of the geometric reproduction.

Sounds perfectly reasonable. We don't want X-COM: Terror From the Deep when we can get X-COM: Apocalypse. Right?

I kinda get why you do this, but unless I'm blind you just posted an article about several nice places on the web without actually linking to those nice places on the web.

This shit is bullshit.

Maybe she used to, but he's all hardware accelerated these days baby.

They're not, actually. Feel free to browse my posts, and also my flesh. Yum.

Nope. The entire code redemption thing is pretty dumb to begin with.

I guess there's really no accounting for taste. Your taste, that is. What horrid, vapid, soul-less guitar plink, yuck. No seriously, there really is no way to argue taste one way or the other.

Me too! :D

I wouldn't build an entire laptop, but there is one thing you can do: Collect one from scrap.

Ever seen those classifieds for broken computers for sale? Get a few of those, download the service manuals, pick and match the still working components from each machine, and build yourself a laptop. Now, I'm a certified Mac

Yah people, artists and actors don't change the names their parents gave them here in Sweden just to fit in, as they might do in other western nations I've heard of.

Renegade Pervert?

You could use DNS filtering via your router, but that won't help if the data always passes through Microsoft first.

Dead Rising 2 was on PC.
