You’re not wrong, but my only issue with that view is that the fans care not at all about that. There’s a serious disconnect between the way the organizers and teams see motorsport, and the way drivers and fans do. And given who gets who paid I don’t think you can really say one side is correct.
Maybe he didn’t know it was electrical? And I can’t blame him, because I probably wouldn’t expect my car to have a door handle so needlessly complicated and unintuitive that I needed to read an ‘effin manual to operate it.
Bought a new Fiesta ST last August. It was my first manual and scared the living shit out of me for a good month-and-a-half, but now we’re on pretty good terms. 1st and 2nd aren’t always as smooth as I’d like, but on the right road, and the right day, it’s definitely worth it.
Another reason why Dice should be working on awesome racers like it used to before it became a slave to the Battlefield machine
Fun fact: You can drive this car in Gran Turismo 3, 5, and 6. Though I think in GT3 you need a GameShark to do it in the non NTSC-J version.
This car really is the pinnacle of what Bangle was talking about. Sure, it looks good — great even. But it’s a mishmash of the best elements from other sedans. It’s got the face of a Mazda 6/Giulia, the taillights of a C-Class, and from the side I see Jaguar XE, which was already a smoother take on the current 3…
At least the last-gen Type R had some soft curves and smooth surfaces on it. This abomination looks like a lowered Crosstour with useless winglets. Or an origami-inspired couch. Whichever you prefer.
It’s really just the culmination of what Honda’s been doing for years, which is making cars that look interesting rather…
Mia is the only song I know, but it’s great
Gonna deviate from this by naming the band with the best song named after an automobile, Swervedriver.
I’m in the market for a Fiesta ST! If you’re selling in the tri-state area, I’d take yours off your hands.
I’m in the market for one of these right now. First time car buyer. Ah, the nervous excitement.
Anyone having any trouble syncing their 8bitdo controller with the Switch? Tried on my system for forever with my SNES30 to no avail. Just wanna play Puyo Puyo Tetris with a real D pad!
Mighty long stretch you’re make there. Seriously, nobody knew who this guy was up until 24 hours ago. He said some shitty things, people reacted. He apologized — yes, because he started getting noticed, but publicly apologized nonetheless. Why not just take him at his word, then if he really does genuinely believe…
Exactly. Nobody’s saying it’s not challenging and an unbelievable feat of engineering, but these are massive corporations with endless resources, money, and the best minds in the world at their disposal. This isn’t me building an engine, this is fucking Honda. Nobody’s asking them to rival Merc, but they can’t even…
“And look, it’s possible that with the right leadership and support, Project Ara could have met the finish line, but that doesn’t change a very large, very fundamental problem with Project Ara (and modular smartphones in general): No one wants a bad modular smartphone.”
Growing, up, all I ever drew was cars. Basically from the time I could draw. And I knew I loved car design, and I wanted to be a car designer, but something just didn’t click. I guess I didn’t feel confident enough in my artistic abilities, and my parents, awesome as they were, didn’t do a fantastic job of pushing me…
Reading an article on Kotaku, I was so confused and delighted to see a Ford Escort Cosworth reference. Then I saw that Hardigree wrote it, and everything made sense.
Nearly as great as their Shenmue/Yu Suzuki parody. This one cracks me up every single time.
Here’s the thing: every one of these incidents is, at best, in poor taste, at worst, disgusting and indefensible. He deserves to be held accountable, and I completely agree with and understand every company’s decision to drop him.
That said, and here is where I completely expect to be told off by someone...
To a certain…
