“...was neglected over its almost 85,000 miles of use, as evidenced by the rust on the car’s massive brake rotors.”

I haven’t seen Airwolf in a LONG time, but I am dealing with a kidney stone right now. I’m not sure I’d want to deal with a stone AND bad 80’s television.

I always thought he looked like Jason Seagal

He’s got the president and NASA on his side now, I doubt anything will happen to him.

I've bought a couple things from these lists. The MPOWs are awesome. I use them daily. I also got a Seiko watch that I absolutely love. I may have bought some other stuff but nothing comes to mind right now.

he’s a genius. lets post to Youtube BOTH sets of plates on the car with the illegal license plate flipper.

get an arduino mega, it has more outputs, I think double what the standard one does.

that is correct, 01? 02? something like that. it was the same engine they were using in the focus.

Hyundai either.

I’m curious, not being argumentative or at least not trying to be, how many Hyundais have you seen up close that were built after say, 2006? I work on these things every day and I don’t honestly get the chintzy comparison. i worked for Toyota for about a year and I didn’t feel like there was much of a quality

A 4.6 wouldn't fit, but a Windsor 5.0 probably would. That would be fun.

I wish I could star this more than once.

stupid people. I would ask the guy if I could bring over my lawn chair and some beers and sit under the wing on a nice day. that’d be an awesome spot to hang out.

I currently need to wire up the power window motor in my F100. I modified the manual regulator to mount up an 80’s style F150 power motor, I just haven’t ran the wiring or switch. it would be nice to be able to put down my window, you know, being summer and all. once I have that one working correctly, I’ll start on

I agree, drum brakes are not difficult at all unless we are talking about the parking brake shoes inside of a rear disc setup. otherwise a normal set of drums is easy. the only reason I think they are difficult for most people is that they don’t have the right tools. 5 minutes to the local parts store and you’re set.

I've done this, almost exactly 2 years ago now. Drove from NJ to CA going south through TX and back up to the Bay Area in my Ranger, then a couple months later going back to get my Focus and taking 80 all the way across through WY and NV. It was nice, I just wish I'd taken a bit more time to enjoy it.

I’m more interested in the contest between GMG and Roadkill.

A GDI engine isn’t a diesel engine with a spark plug. it’s a regular gas engine that uses a high pressure pump to inject the fuel directly into the cyl rather than into the intake tract. There is no additional “soot” formed from a GDI engine than would be produced by an engine with a traditional intake/injector set

$130 doesn’t actually sound that bad. part was probably between $40 and $60 which leaves about .5-.6hrs for labor. 30 minutes to install a CKP isn’t unreasonable, they tend to put them in difficult spots on the engine.
