no, I’m a technician at a Hyundai/Kia dealership. An 06 Sedona has the 3.8 which requires removal of both valve covers in order to remove the timing cover, the only additional charge should be for the part, which should have been quoted with the cost of the timing cover removal.

unless a rotor is too close to minimum spec or hot spotted/cracking/heavy rust, there is no reason to not machine a rotor. so then why would you rec replacing them rather than machining? because it takes zero additional time to put on a new rotor where it takes time to machine one.

my guess is that the apple store guy was asking if she had wireless at home, because that is how she would be connecting to the internet with her apple laptop that may only have one port.

My mom had a 66 GTO when I was a kid, they brought me home from the hospital after I was born in it. My parents sold it when I was 8 or so for $1500. Id love to find another one for her. Mom still loves that car.

oh well, I installed the 10 preview yesterday on my GF’s old ass HP/Vista laptop. It was so jacked up that it took 20 minutes to get to the desktop after you turned it on, now it’s there in about a minute. If it has to stay on the beta program that’s fine with me.

I wasn’t saying the show wasn’t good, just that I didn’t like the pilot. I’ve seen all of the episodes, when I was a kid and most again when they used to do reruns on Spike/TNN or whatever it was called at the time. Love the show, hadn’t ever seen the pilot. It's not quite as light hearted as the rest of the series.

I just downloaded and installed the W10 preview onto mf GF’s old ass HP laptop that had been running Vista. It installed very quick and easy and seems to be running ok so far. I guess I’ll see how things go from here, but hey, free Windows, right?
