I’m a Mets fan, and I grew with a bitter hatred/jealousy of the Yankees (I mean, c’mon, I chose my favorite team when I was 7...which was of course in 1995). They always overshadowed us, they even beat us in a World Series, they had as many Hall-of-Famers in a given year as we have had our entire existence.
