I have ridiculously low standards for servers, so they automatically get 15% if they bring me what I ordered within a reasonable time, and the drink doesn't have a fly drowning in it.

I live in a province where servers' minimum wage is $8.90, and was told by another commenter that my regular 15% tip is too low. This is out in the countryside, where cost of living is ridiculously low, so I had assumed that I was fair. Should I have been tipping 20% all this time instead?
