I started college in 2001 and the entire first week was just people beating “no means no” “silence means no” “maybe means no” “unconscious means no” etc. into our heads. There had to be “enthusiastic yes” to be a real “yes go ahead”. I don’t think 2 years would have changed ideas about sex/rape all that much.
