I live just north of America and I couldn't label its (too many) states, but I can label most of the countries in Europe and Asia, with their capitals. Africa is still kind of hard, though, since I've never visited there.

http://opinion.latimes.com/opinionla/2011/11/a-dc-bird-researcher-is-convicted-of-trying-to-poison-cats.html Evil woman who poisoned feral cats got slap on the wrist punishment. What's not mentioned is that in that area the feral cats inhabit, there are no endangered birds. Sparrows aren't exactly going to be wiped

Every time my dad went on his week(s)-long business trips, my childhood dog would never fail to park himself at the window, waiting for hours every day around the time he should come home from work. It was terribly sad.

In Southern twang, of course.

My doctor's never used it on me. She trusts me to give her my weight when she asks (which is rarely), but also thinks it's a great idea to send me to get my blood tests every few months for god knows what. Very strange woman.

You can train cats! They can pick up a trick as easily as a dog, but getting them to do it more than once will be difficult. You can also train them to go for walks on a leash.

I wish they'd shout down the crazies, because the Tea Party-types are the only ones everyone's forced to listen to these days and it's tainting traditional Republican values.

If they had guns for all that violent crime, wouldn't the murder rate be higher since it'd be easier to just shoot someone dead? Does the limit on guns also limit deaths?

I'm not a doctor/nurse, but from what I've read about that Irish case where a late-term abortion was denied and she was forced to go through with the miscarriage, inducing labour would have been very, very dangerous for her. An abortion was the safest option. Too bad they didn't do that and she died.

They sometimes show up on i09 and I sit back to watch them get ripped apart. I especially enjoy the climate change deniers. It's really too bad this doesn't happen (verbally) in real life, because these superstitious, condescending, walking bags of disease are spreading their lies and probably getting people killed —

She's condemning both her and other people's children. I don't know this woman, but I know I already hate her.

Her kids might very well catch and carry diseases that they transmit to babies who weren't old enough to get the vaccines themselves. Result is dead babies, which is very sad, but seriously it's an issue now. Parents who don't vaccinate their kids are killing other people's children.

Ugh why are we still on this.... Seriously, this is like believing that the earth is 6000 years old.

Have you lived in the far East? People bedazzling themselves with LV is just another symptom of the terribly image-conscious culture that was there before. If it's a luxury brand, they'll buy it.

Woah, I don't know about other Asians but I wasn't taught about backwater swamps. It was all about ancient, glorious history and cultural heritage. One of my first memories was seeing a peaceful, old temple that had probably stood there for hundreds of years.

Which is why I said he's halfway there :)

Yes, the 'natural' look is in. I laugh and laugh over the statistics.

How did she go to school/work like that? I can't imagine an entire year of pain.
