What if the Jezebel bloggers are honest about Clinton when she does something liberal or feminist or cool, and are equally honestly about Clinton when she does something illiberal or politically cynical or not cool?

She also seems to imply that if Trump loses the election, America is gonna be better to live in than Canada. America resembling Canada, in terms of social and economic equality, is still at least two decades off. More, if we get any Republicans in office.

All-terrain shirtless-man-powered bubble is the only vehicle Vladimir Putin will travel in.

Unfortunately for us poor liberals, we have to stay in America while it elects centrist Dems and conservative GOPs—year after year after year—and dismisses the tiniest amount of progress towards economic justice and social equity and international peace as unpragmatic.

I drink my Franzia right out of the box, no cup. Bring me the Manny.

You can be as cynical as you like, but government and big business have a big ol’ revolving door and everyone uses it. If Sanders benefits from it by getting a cabinet position, he won’t be any more or less self-serving than anyone else who found a new job in government.

I think it’s a dumb move for Sanders to attack Castro, if that’s what’s up. Castro’s honestly as good of a VP for a (remote) Sanders victory as he is for a Clinton victory. There’s no sense in it, and I’d say that’s bad politicking all around.

While I think some sexist Sanders supporters might prefer a man, there’s no data to indicate there are more sexist Sanders supporters than there are sexist Clinton supporters. Sanders and Clinton both have higher favorability among women than men (we love the left!). Yep, most men dislike Sanders. I think Sanders,

I don’t think she’s going to try scooping up liberals when she makes her pivot for the general election. I think she’s going to aim for disillusioned Republicans, moderate independents, and the chance to distance herself from the “unpragmatic left” that she defeated in the primaries. Picking a female VP, most of whom

I think she makes a lot of decisions that appeal to a status quo, to offset the loss of social capital she endures for being a woman and not being a Republican. If she picks a white guy over the obvious choice of Castro, you can blame Sanders for her decision if you like. Or you can blame the entire system that

Like how we did after 2008. The Obama v Clinton primary wasn’t tame. Clinton repeatedly said Obama lacked the experience to lead—cautioned us that it would be that guy answering the phone at 3 AM when the nation is in crisis. Said she was sticking around in the primaries, just in case someone gets assassinated.

It took 100 years for the first beige suit to even be allowed in the same room as a gray suit.

I don’t see Clinton and Warren engaging in a lot of joint projects in the future, much as Warren might set off the ticket nicely.

He went on to say: “...Look, I hate to go on and on about this. I’m proud to say I’m not a rambler. I don’t ramble. But who’s gonna check the dicks anyway? You got—listen. There’s ten, twenty guys in a bathroom. Someone is going to have to check the dicks, if you want to enforce this. If you don’t check the dicks,

I saw a troll convince a bunch of right-wingers that she should be on a new dollar denomination—a $12 bill—whose worth is conspicuously less than Jackson’s.

It’ll be interesting to see where liberals wind up, after a Sanders departure. All but the most optimistic Sanders supporters didn’t even expect he’d get this far along, against a very well-vetted presumptive nominee.

The media likes binaries. Left-right. Sanders-Clinton. Win-lose. No one likes the idea that their democracy has nuance. The only reason Americans vote is because at least it feels a little bit like a sport.

Why? I think Sanders has improved the process, for Clinton and Sanders supporters alike. What would anyone be talking about if there weren’t at least a two-way race for the presidency?

Preaching to the choir. I’ve been hoping they’d let Jill Stein debate circles around the candidates for years. Just inviting voices from the left improves the process.
