Why is athlete in quotations?

To be fair, from a legal perspective I can’t imagine why you would think the person being assaulted couldn’t defend themselves solely because they worked out and were in far better shape.

This is true, but the award is based solely on fielding errors made, and Palmeiro was able to reduce that substantially by switching to DH.

lol

Are you seriously suggesting buzzfeed should unionize to maintain journalistic integrity??

Just a decade. You didn’t actually say you didn’t like your job bud, just that you didn’t want to work more hours.

I’m just saying, you can work harder and that will make you more money. And if they aren’t willing to pay you more, find someone that will.

Good plan. You could work harder/smarter and make yourself indispensable and get a big raise. You could probably continue on your track half adding it until you’re fired and get a nice severance, probably best to quit though- that’ll really show ‘em.

Most these teams lose money, and the league as a whole is propped up by the NBA. Tickets aren’t cheap, it’s still $100 to get a family of four into a game. If they were smart I would think the teams in NBA cities would try to piggyback entirely off the NBA team. It might be a little easier to get a Dallas Mavericks

Literally the only reason this guy still has a job in the NFL is that he’s just good enough to play, but crappy enough to fly under the radar and avoid the public outrage when he beats women.

That seems crazy. I can’t imagine 90% of Americans thinking about offering a cop cash, and no cop would be dumb enough to ask for a bribe 1,000+ times and not get caught.

Well, it makes it a little less sad...

I was going to say, I know the exact book I read that in. I believe there was a sequel as well!

Nobody is buying a “Big Baller” branded shoe if it’s made by some shoddy half rate shoe company. There is an incredible amount of technology that goes into a shoe which LaVar doesn’t feel like he needs to pay for. Ball’s core competency in this is solely marketing- which is why the model is structured the way that it

Unfortunately for you, it’ll be in that 52nd year that the Bears win a Super Bowl and you’ll have nobody to gloat to....

I don’t think 30 feet is the death sentence Drew is making it out to be. I’d happily jump from 30 feet onto stacked 100's. I don’t even think I’d break anything. I’d rather not jump onto Gold, but if that was my only option I’d do that too.

I smell a book deal!

How does your headline differ so much from the source story?

How are those facts inconsequential? One was consequential enough to be included in the title...
