@yasinkothia: you can change the device's SSH password from your computer, just check out the instructions at this blog: [justanotheriphoneblog.com]
@digitalmaddog: nope! it's easier than ever now, not like the olden days. no restart/reboot even!
The following blog has a more thorough explanation of changing your iPhone's root password, including instructions not only from the iPhone using MobileTerminal, but from your Mac or PC as well. MobileTerminal didn't open for me on the iPhone, so I went this route and it worked!
Don't you think that buying with this idea of future appreciation will make you obsessed with buying old, used crap you don't actually want? Money is only good if it makes you happy. If you're broke then ok buy old furniture and clothes, but if you have the money, appreciate the new stuff! That's a better form of…
I'm using Scrivener (Mac) but I'm just getting started. I find it similar to WriteWay Pro according to their website (I haven't actually tried the latter). You can organize by chapter and section and it can export your work in proper manuscript format.
Tried to get the full version, it didn't work when clicking "Share on Facebook" in both Safari and Chrome. Then tried the trial and didn't really like it. The icon is amazing though!

@coreyvf: press Cmd+L to see currently playing. It won't appear under radio but will instead be in your Music folder.
Wow I've been looking for a way to do this forever, thanks so much!!! :o)
Umm, the GSI appears to be crap according to all the online reviews. 2 of the 4 reviewers gave it 1 star. I think the concept is great but it's a good idea to go with a higher quality brand, like Hario suggested.
As for searing the meat, my butcher dispelled that myth for saying that searing is good because it adds flavour, not so much as sears in juices. So I can agree with that.
Yeah, I'd have to disagree with this post as well and say baking soda works! I'm not into layering poisonous chemicals on my skin so I instead use baking soda as deodorant. I can tell you it DOES work if your odour killing needs aren't over the top. If you have several open bowls of fried garlic in your fridge it's…
I always thought funerals were a big waste of money, and funeral homes take advantage of people at their weakest moments, upselling caskets. Craziness. I think renting a casket for the show is a good idea, then putting them in your entry level one is fine. Really, if they aren't covered for insurance or anything, do…
Sudoku. I would write all possible number combinations in each square and it'd be a total mess. Then upon glancing at other Sudokuists' free dailies I realized that that's not how to do it. I tried another way and now I can say that I can properly (though slowly) do Sudoku.
I agree with slugabedex, what is appropriate to some may offend other (stuck up conservative—oops!) people.
I tried the 720p preset on handbrake to shrink down an mp4 music video.... the file went from 107 MB at 1080p to 158 MB at 720p. I used the LH 720p setting but I guess that was a waste of time and CPU power. I find that VisualHub still works best for all this stuff because you can visualize your file size ahead of…

Bluetooth keyboard? Does that mean that even if my Macbook has Bluetooth and is set up as a device, I can't use keyboard support because I don't have a separate Bluetooth keyboard? I want to be able to type texts on my Macbook to my iPhone... Is this possible without a separate bluetooth keyboard?
