Agreed, that price is asinine. Even at 0% APR, the price should be discounted further for a car that is effectively 3 years old at this point.

So, you bought a 3 year old (I realize it is a “new” 3 year old) TDI for only $5k less than sticker? That is some bullshit. I bought a brand new 2012 GLI in 2012 for $4k under sticker price at 0% AND that was before VW’s name had been dragged through the mud with Diesel-Gate.
Not trying to be an a-hole, but a 5k discount (if I read that correctly) on a 2 year old but zero mileage car doesn’t seem like a super deal. I would have thought they’d be a lot cheaper.
I still say you all are crazy for paying that much. A gas GSW, brand new, is about $20k after incentives. The two year old diesels should have been $15k tops.
.... yyyyeah, Chevy totally started it...
A HUGE number of trucks are local loop only. Think of every delivery truck running to Target, Walmart, Kroger, etc. Along with UPS and USPS and FedEx. And muni busses, along with garbage trucks and cement mixers and Class VIII tow trucks.
All of those are local haul, with good reasons to want massive torque from a…
Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell truck shown here is powered by hydrogen, not battery power, meaning it can be fully refueled in about 6 minutes (assuming the drivetrain is as they say it is, two Mirai cells with, and again I’m assuming, two Mirai fuel tanks.)
Adding weight won’t change the way the engine delivers power.
This is the first time I heard an electric motor sound like a car alarm. Maybe they’re trying to say they drove it like they stole it?
You are aware that boxers are commonly referred to as “fighters” and a boxing match is typically referred to as a “fight,” correct? And even technical or defensive boxers are known as “technical fighters” or “defensive fighters.” And he’s 49-0. If Laura had called him one of the greatest knockout artists or sluggers,…
After seeing so many internet dumpster fires centering on “Busness owner fails to understand power of internet, fucks up all the things.” my personal theory is that it’s a matter of being engaged in internet culture as a person vs not being engaged, not as a business, but personally as a part of your interests. I’m 46…
No it isn’t. The “bold strategy, Cotton” line comes from a scene in Dodgeball.
It also rains just about everywhere. Once you daily drive an AWD car it’s hard to go back.
I use my 435i XDrive to go skiing.
Hateception?
There’s still snow in the Sierras. Go discover how it rallies!
That reminds me of when Mythbusters tested men and women at parallel parking to see who was better. They measured time, distance to cars in front and behind, and distance from the curb at front and rear wheel.
This is almost as bad as a video I found on my dash cam. This lady ended up having her husband finish parking for her LMAO
Parallel parking was definitely not on the driving test when I took it
