Financing in and of itself is not a gimmick, or dumb.

This would make me more interested in buying a Mustang.
I’m not sure why you think my pointing out that slowing an out-of-control car with the brakes (not breaks) is an invalid argument.
I imagine the audio alarms are just there so people don’t freak out and say “I don’t want my car taking over for me!” The reality is those alarms are probably a fraction of a second before the brakes are applied.
“Correct” is a strong word. Applying the brakes is the only real recourse when a car is spinning out of control, so it will slow the car and the slide- presumably until the car eventually stops. But this system isn’t going to make anyone look like a hero by saving the day/slide.
I wish modern cars that synthesize the turn signal sound would make the sound louder the longer the signal stayed on.
I was referring to Ford as a “mainstream” brand that has a network of dealers who are all-too-familiar with high-demand models. Obviously it isn’t the OEM who is adding markup to the MSRP. But Ford is about as mainstream as they come, yet dealer market adjustments on Mustangs, Focii, Raptors, GTs, etc are commonplace.
I think the Jeep driver may be done with driving
Then you have Ford, who put $10-20k “market adjustments” on Mustangs and Raptors every other year.
This may be more common with lower-rent brands like Ford and Mitsubishi who attract a larger pool of bottom feeding tire kickers. Admittedly, my sales experience is limited to luxury brands (and motorcycles). There seem to be fewer pretenders trying to joy-rider R8s than Mustangs and Evos.
Having sold cars and taken many a deposit on special orders, I can tell you with certainty that I would not take a $5k deposit. For one thing, In California, there is no such thing as a non-refundable deposit. Any amount of money you give a dealer- at least in CA- would be fully refundable until the moment you drive…
older millennials
All of these cars would look better in almost any other color.
Dang, I feel like I missed out on this train wreck you (t)rolled out. But in the event you have any more acid to spit, let me know; I won’t want to miss your colorful trolling.
Dang, late reply. Haha.
Speaking of innocent until proven guilty, it sounds like Jalopnik is the one in trial right now.
Hey Z4M, you sound super knowledgeable on this topic. So I was hoping you could expand on your detailed knowledge of how a new cluster can be swapped out without Ferrari’s authorization on a late model. In what capacity do you work for Ferrari? Are you a tech at a dealer or at the factory? I know many other people are…
That’s what he said.
There is a difference, though, between spell check and auto-correct. Unless you can show a correlation between people who misspell Infiniti (btw, Infiniti is underlined in red as I type this) and people who post ads from a mobile device using auto-correct, I am going to stick to my guns on this one.
The vast majority of 4 cylinder sportbikes use a transverse inline configuration, up to about 1300cc- Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW...
