I’m not saying “no person complained about the power of [car x].” I’m saying that other 200 HP cars aren’t a meme of disappointment like the BRZ has become. You don’t have Civic Si owners defending their slow car when no one even brought it up, but this shit happens all the time with BRZ/86 owners.

I grew up in that lower-middle class town.

Weight is all relative. I would rather take the weight penalty of a drive shaft and RWD drive setup than a hybrid setup. And I would rather have a turbo setup than a hybrid setup, for a sports coupe. A CR-Z with the turbo 1.5 would have had a bigger appeal than a hybrid.

Was the CR-Z light? It was a hybrid, which was a mistake on more than one level.

Great memories are made for little more than waking up on Saturday, riding for a couple hours, paying $15 for gas for the bikes and maybe $25 for a park pass if riding at a OHV park.

$6,000 estimate? Yeah right. But then, you also estimated the upcoming Mercedes pick-up to start at the same prices as a base model CLA, so....

Some car enthusiasts understand this. No casual driver does. The average commuter trusts that the EPA estimated fuel economy is something they can expect to achieve.

Oooh, or even better- a Can Am Spyder.

Show interest in other potentially dangerous things, then get your wife to compromise on the motorcycle.

If you’re riding with/next to a buddy on another motorcycle and spend time next to them at stop lights, maybe.

No. She learned to drive from her dad. Neither of them were military.

I completely disagree. Her goal was to get to 2nd gear. The fact she detoured through 3rd only delays her achieving her goal.

I’ve honestly never heard of this being a recommendation. Is this a recommendation from Honda, or from some guy on an S2000 forum?

I notice this most in drive-thrus (not that I ever eat fast food, or anything, obviously...).

I used to have a friend who would downshift each gear, even though she didn’t let the clutch out between gears.

I’m not an Engineer, but I’m pretty sure there is supposed to be a COTD named in the COTD post.

My 6 year old nephew does this too. He picks on his 3 year old little brother. Then, when it goes too far (his brother starts to cry) he says “I was just kidding!” Like “I didn’t mean to slap him (hard enough for him to make a scene and get me in trouble). I was just playing.”

Things I will never do:

For it to be ruined, it would have to start with some positive quality.

I... don’t... understand.
