Sorry guys, eating less and moving more doesn't work for the obese. Counting calories is an exercise in stupidity. Eat when you're hungry. Don't when you're not. Avoid all processed foods, especially starch and sugar. Eat plenty of fat. Anything more complicated is a recipe for failure.

That's well and good if you're willing to spend several hours and several hundred gigabytes, just to start editing.

I regularly eat 3 mc doubles from McDonalds. Just saying. (I cycle at least about 10mi a day, and run 3mi a day, hehe)

Ketoacidosis is very different from ketosis. I have not heard of single case of an otherwise healthy, dieter being in a state of ketoacidosis. The condition is only a risk for diabetics who do not use enough insulin.
