Hah, I've got a 2500k with 8gb, and a GTX 460. It can edit raw H.264 from my DSLR flawlessly.

For my purposes, I want a computer with a CUDA-complient video card for Premiere Pro.

They both use x86-64 chips, except Macs cost twice what PCs cost for the same hardware.

The upcoming Vizio ivy bridge notebooks look pretty cool. I'm planning on getting the 13" and running Arch linux on it.
