The game has good bones, but it’s got a bit of an identity crisis in gameplay. Others have already said this, but Crucible isn’t quite sure if it wants to be a hero shooter or a MOBA (or even a battle royale). The 4v4 mode is most of what I played. I found that the moment-to-moment gameplay was really fun, but it

Got through the tutorial and played for a couple hours. There is some potential in there, but it just felt like more of a lateral movement of the genre instead of moving anything forward. Really needs a bit more depth to have a chance of standing out in an already crowded field.

“Hyped” is different than “Overly Advertised”.  I don’t think I know of a single person who was excited about this game.  Everyone just knew about it because you can’t avoid the ads no matter where you go.

I’m pretty sure if NRS wants a specific character in the game they’re not going to be held up by the story. MK9 killed a huge chunk of the classic roster and MKX and 11 have brought them back as revenants with alternate heroic skins. Joker and Green Arrow were brought back in Injustice 2 as a dream sequence and

So, anyone else a little bothered by how quickly this season smoothed over Catra’s obviously toxic behavior towards Adora? For most of this series Catra went about hurting Adora and other people because the person she wanted to be with took her life in a different direction and in the process made new friends. Catra

Engaged no less.

It’s amazing how, between the Harley Quinn cartoon and The Lego Batman Movie, Bane’s voice from The Dark Knight Rises has become the go-to for comedic portrayals of him.

The looks on their faces were priceless too!

When I first saw the promos I was worried the R-rating and all the cursing was going to lead to a lot of dumb, lazy humor (the way some of the animated movies rely on cursing for lazy grimdark shock value), but it really smartly written.

*takes a deep breath*

I really like how they’re just lampooning Tom Hardy’s Bane voice

This is just a really well done show all around. It's nice to see DC, who mostly have portrayed themselves as the darker alternative to Marvel, poke fun at themselves. It also allows for characters like Harley Quinn and less notable characters like Poison Ivy, Clayface, King Shark, and even fucking Kite Man to be more

I played it on a Game Boy, so...

It’s a rhythm game, who cares what method you use? Fun is fun.

Maybe if they up the framerate/response time, but as it is it’s like playing DDR through waist high water.

Do you take exception with the 100% unrealistic combat in these games?

It’s “amazing” how all the concerns for historical accuracy always arise when a video game allows us to play as either a minority or a female.

There is no historical accuracy in a game about vikings unless we get necropants......

I dont think people would play a game that was historically accuracy, a ton of crazy happened in history prior to and during battles. Oh look you spent weeks trying to siege a castle and just died of poops, or you tripped over a

I got into an annoying argument with someone about Aloy in Horizon Zero Dawn that started with “a woman can’t do all that stuff” (which I attempted to counter with the triple threat of “no one can - it doesn’t have to be fully realistic” and “some women could - Aloy is one” and “it’s a video game”)
But it was all a
