I was looking at that image of The Big Three, and I was trying to figure out why I thought that Johnny Cage looked the best out of them. Turned out it’s not internalized racism and misogyny (this time). It’s that they gave him the least ridiculous lips.

The overall reviews here seem to be “pretty good but won’t last long”. Maybe the devs should do what Fortnite did in that situation, and pivot to a battle royale mode? :P

Spot on. I figured this would be the case but was still hopeful Capcom would prove me wrong. Then I tried the beta and while I didn’t hate it, it’s just super clunky and 2 matches was enough for me. I have the game now, but I doubt I’ll play Resistance unless I team up with a fried or two.

This also assumes that Capcom would update Resistance over time and I don’t really see that happening. Also, I tried the open beta/trial for it and could not stand it. The connection issues were god awful and Mastermind completely stomps any team that doesn’t have all 4 people working in harmony.

On the plus side, hearing more Red XIII is nice. That is one buttery voice.

Saw it, can confirm. Especially that part where Aerith looks directly into the camera and tells you how to revive her in the original game - I kinda wish I had seen that in the context of the actual story.

Fun game if you liked Skull girls you should like this as same engine, had a moment a while back where it was touch and go as they went silent but they came back. I backed it for a physical version so i am looking forward to that

My favorite thing about this game’s whole story (which seems to have been forgotten over time) is that the new characters and story were created by Lauren Faust, the same person who created Friendship is Magic! Even though Hasbro C&D’ed the original fan game, Faust was no longer working for Hasbro by that time and

You’re complaining about a thing that, while it is very bad, is not the thing Captain Turbo was talking about with his comment.

These issues were addressed in Xenoverse 2 but that game fizzled out quickly as well

That’s a bummer for the Dynasty, who must have been looking forward to their home stand. Not playing in front of your fans must be a big missed opportunity, but I’m sure the players and production staff will put their health and safety above all else.

Because (as demonstrated by what happened to the Illusive Main) it will not work - you’ll eventually be corrupted and let the Reapers off their leash. And the cycle of destruction will return.

Libertarianism is a hell of a drug, man.

Saving the Geth or not, Legion is destined to sacrifice himself anyway. And I’m still bitter over losing Tali’Zorah because I saved the Geth.

Yeah, of the three options given (remember, this was before “deny” was an option), it was the “least” evil. Control just wouldn’t work (you’d get corrupted, and the Reapers would go back to business as usual), Synthesis was 100% evil, and Destroy was maybe 80-90% evil (with extra bonus suck since I managed to make

Like the hey you get a Prothean as a companion that has absolutely no pay off in how the story turns out. Personally I like Andromeda more then I liked 3 and felt it had a lot of potential with the odd little mysteries, but the execution of the game was lacking in you really don’t get anytime to care about your dad or

I see something to this effect so much and it (among many other things, of course) makes me worry very deeply about the psyche of gamers. “I was 100% Paragon. Except for beating up a reporter of course, who doesn’t do that.” And nobody realizes they sound... absolutely mental.

Nice to know that I wasn’t the only one whose immediate reaction to the Synthesis ending — and the other two as well, really was “this is utterly monstrous.” I remain vaguely baffled that BioWare did not anticipate people being unhappy with them ending their big heroic space opera by making players choose between 3

I played full paragon, but on that last choice, I go half way to Control (because it was coded blue), but felt something was wrong about it.
