Masterful, well done.
Masterful, well done.
Perfection. +1 and done.
I guess they were afraid they’d get fired.
Good - I don’t get to refuse to do the job I’m paid to do either.
Oh, god, that’s fucking nasty. Dry heaving over here.
wait, so she never even apologized ?
People need to stop that shit! These motherfuckers don’t even bother to do a proper apology, they never make amends but simple fuckers go on forgiving them so these assholes can go on to do this shit to someone else.
“second chance, I hope she will change her ways.”
From my limited view of baseball, I agree with 4-year control. That would put the average player into the market around age 27 or 28. The MLBPA probably needs to think bigger picture about Super 5, minors manipulation, and other tricks to keep players out of their prime free agent years, though. Stuff I’m not too…
It should be arbitration after two years, some form of restricted free agency after three, unrestricted after four. Players will be getting ready to enter their prime at that point and the majority of them will actually live up to big money deals.
I think it’s two things related to the changing of baseball as a result of sabermetrics. First, teams finally have science showing them that these career back-end deals are crap. Second, the current CBA gives team 6 years of control. Most players don’t even hit FA until they’ve burned up their prime earning years.
I wonder if we’re looking at the wrong problem though. The problem may not be the veteran players getting squeezed out and taking lesser salaries despite still being productive, the problem may well be the pre-FA players getting nowhere near their real worth in terms of salary.
Nixon opened relations with China - good. Got us out of Vietnam? No, Johnson and Nixon listened to the f*n “State Department” and refused to press the deal to the end. I did my tour; my job was to analyze photos of the results of ops in the field. But I saw pics of Haiphong Harbor full of Russian and Chinese ships…
My favorite Royal Rumble moment is still the beginning of the second one (1989). They introduced Ax from Demolition at #1, then Howard Finkel announced (with sarcasm dripping from his voice) “And now, the man who drew number 2...AT RANDOM...one half of Demolition, Smash!”
He’s remembered for Watergate because it perfectly illustrated who he was - a paranoid, power-hungry freak. It wasn’t enough that the Democrats had imploded in 1968 and he was virtually certain to cruise to re-election, he had to do everything possible no matter how illegal to ensure it.
Nixon got the US out of Vietnam on virtually the same terms he deep-sixed just before the ‘68 election. So he did end US involvement, but only at a cost of thousands (and if you take in Cambodia Millions) of lives. Still worst ever so far.
What?! What’s next, you’re gonna tell me the Royal Rumble order is rigged so they could get Too Cool to dance in the ring at the same time?!
Nixon opened relations with China, got us out of VietNam and was instrumental in creating the EPA. What’s he most remembered for...Watergate.
Nixon also first kept us from leaving Vietnam before he much later got us out, though.
his privileged upbringing means he won’t have the drive to succeed
