Yeah it is! I thought the author’s name sounded familiar, and then I saw the bibliography. Going to have to check this one out.

To be honest, I trust Dean about 1000% more than Chad Ford or any other sport-network-employed hype man.

I don’t know if it’s better or worse that his whole act is just a gimmick as opposed to being genuine, but it certainly isn’t a good thing either way.

Yes.

Yeah, same here, on all accounts.

I don’t use it regularly, haven’t used it much at all since maybe...11th grade? Can’t exactly remember when, but it was around the time i stopped doing cafeteria freestyle battles. I can’t dig it out of my brain, so occasionally a situation will make me think “This nigga trippin’” or, like with R. Kelly, “Fuck that

So if you’re not a doctor, so let’s see what an actual doctor has to say:

I’m only recounting Orlando’s position, not my own feelings on his career path. And I said he was projected as a top-3 talent because mock drafts are fickle, but that’s the general range he was in; I specifically did not tout him being the #1 pick because evaluations are so disparate.

Previous doctors did diagnose other issues, though, and it’s possible that they weren’t looking for this specific ailment—which is notoriously difficult to diagnose and tends to come up at the end of a protracted process of getting multiple opinions—once they found other explanations. I wouldn’t be surprised, because people are capable of a wide range of deceptions in the name of profit. Is that what you allege Fultz is doing?

they thought players should have basic protections like meal allowances, no-trade clauses after six years of service to a team, pay for and restrictions on exhibitions games, a guaranteed minimum wage, and the ability to engage in contract arbitration

Honestly, this city probably would love that.

I’m guessing you weren’t a fan of House, then!

As a Phillies fan, I’ve been hating him from afar his entire career. This whole situation is weird and confusing.

Oh, I’m reasonably confident Trout swim upstream.

That you, Princess Caroline?

That sucks, I hope it isn’t very debilitating. I sometimes feel like I have something like that happening, but probably just be getting older and the neck isn’t as flexible as it used to be. Nerve damage is no joke.

I think so, but I also think thoracic outlet syndrome is something that lends to the sort of “see no evil” you mention; in a lot of cases, it’s a diagnosis of exclusion after nothing else can explain the symptoms. This interview explains a lot of it better than I can.
