Iverson was probably 4-5 inches smaller. “The 6 foot guard from Georgetown” was only said because he wanted it to be said. He was not even close to 6 foot. He was also only 165 pounds, which I’m sure was an exaggeration as well. He was truly about 5'10"(and a half) and 160. THAT is an underdog.

It is about the narrative and how the player is perceived by the fans. Curry is painted as an underdog and relatable because he is small and “like us.” This is a falsity.

It’s a big difference! It gets right to the heart of how a player is perceived.

Exactly. He plays smaller than he is, fueling the misconception that he is small.

He shrank about 2 inches when Lebron blocked his weak shit into next week.

These numbers confirm that he’s solidly within normal weight ranges for a player his size. Derrick Rose outweighs him by five measly pounds at the same height, yet Steph is routinely described as being a teeny little guy and Rose is pretty much without exception described as the prototype of a big, powerful banger of

Part of it is that Curry can’t cut to the left. There are a couple of good articles floating around but he basically can’t push quick enough to cut off Lebron, so they can go over top every time and not have to worry about him driving to the rim for the classic 4-3 situation they thrive in. They now are a more

It’s not just the early shots. It’s that they have been careless with the ball, even if it did not result in turnover. Weird passes, not crisp at all in half court offense, poor movement, etc. It’s frustrating because when they are on it they are transcendent, but even Warriors fans have to admit that they have not

I do NOT remember that guy.

In a literal fight between a bunch of warriors and a bunch of baby cows, who would win? Don’t be so quick to say the group of warriors would do it. The Rock has some pretty big calves. And sometimes, a calf will bite you. Also, why won’t this headache go away? And why does it smell like burning feathers?

Don't look to J.R. for an answer to that one, your guess is as good as his.

Nominee?? How about all-time champion. That girl owns Curry’s dumb kid.

Is it too late to add her as a nominee for the “Best Sports Baby” award?

Just because something was negotiated under the CBA, doesn’t mean it isn’t fucked for the players (like almost everything in the NFL). The NFL player’s union has such little negotiating power, and the owners have such a strangle-hold, that players are fucked almost no matter what they do. Only a fraction of a

You can’t really force someone to play football. Any player in any sport can choose not to play under his contract. He just doesn’t get payed then and he gets a year older, which is worse in Football than any other sport.

IIRC if he plays the season on the tag, they can slap him with the tag again next season. If he sits out the whole year, they can only give him the “non-exclusive” tag and he can (and will) get big money form somewhere else. So it’s either big contract or he sits out.

Big deal. I’ve been saying that for years, now.

Which is pretty consistent with NFL contracts meaning nothing. Seems like both sides can play the game.
