A strong piece. Thank you. Today was a day of such joy #LoveWins, and such grace. “Listen,” I told my children. “Listen and observe on this historical day. Remember this day.”

Man, that kid seems like a terror. However, as a mom, I just wanted to grab him and hug him, and tell him it's OK. I can't imagine the anxiety he must experience in his every day life.
Great piece! Thank you.
They said she was lacking concentration. Her parents are extremely focused on schools, grades, etc. (yes, second grade). They’re kind of intense. She had beautiful, long and thick hair. After it was cut it grew into a really cute bob (I made sure to compliment her on it whenever I saw her).
My daughter has a friend/classmate (2nd grade). Her parents cut all of her hair off because she twirled it in class while she was concentrating. I was really aghast. It seemed like such a controlling move.
You’re right - so much more to be uncovered. No one has even gotten to the part of the police report where a Duggar child talks about being beaten with a rod (when asked of other times she may have been touched). Also, they “blanket train” their babies. That’s where you place a sweet, curious baby on a blanket, and…
Well, I guess this aligns with the documented Duggar belief that an older boy may become sexually aroused while changing a baby girl’s diaper. This is so fucked up. I am really curious to know the correlation between growing up with these crazy ideas, and molesting as a teen. Does being told by adults in your life…
Tell us more! It seems you have some good stories...
If they could write about celebrities flaunting their pins, they’d be that much further along than the Daily Mail.
I just took two Aleves - right before reading this piece. I get inflamed joints every month right before my period. Now I'll wake up in much less pain. I've always been kind of a baby about pain (i.e. Percocet for cramps). I was pleasantly surprised to discover such an effective OTC.
When I was about 12 or 13, I was on vacation in Hawaii. Rex Smith (“You Take my Breath Away”) was riding by in a red jeep. I got pushed forward in a crowd that quickly recognized him, and the jeep hit me hard on the hip, but didn’t seriuously hurt me. Anyhow, Rex’s “people” we’re really annoyed with the whole scene.…
Ugh. I have spent all afternoon trying to figure this out. I am very confused by Photo Stream vs. iCloud.
I would argue against labeling exceptional children (special ed when we were younger) as dysfunctional. I mean, everyone is dysfunctional in some way.
My sister-in-law was horrified that my kids’ backpacks had their names on them. So far we’re clear on the abduction front.
I just got back from Disney with my kids. We passed by that track every day on our way into the Magic Kingdom parking lot. The track looked really beat up and abandoned when we saw it. In fact, my older son asked if it was still in use, and I told him I didn’t know.
I'm impressed. I was just having this discussion with my husband last week when we were talking about Tony Dorsett, specifically his statements that had he known how "the end" was going to be, he would have made different choices. My husband maintained that even given the information about CTE and other potential…
Rich and Caity need to cover this.
Kelly is just like her mum Sharon. When things don't go her way, or she gets angry, she packs up her toys and leaves.
Re: Jenner and possible texting.
I call bullshit on "Belinda." His second wife was Linda Thompson (mother of Brandon and Brody). No way he's using "Linda" as part of his new name.
