From my experience, I’m fairly sure he had great excuses for every skeleton he had, and he was so wonderful to her that she couldn’t help but believe them. How could someone so perfect do bad things unless those excuses were true?

Having been married to a narcissist, I can’t help but feel bad for her. He was probably incredible to her at the beginning, she probably fell madly in love with that false persona, and he probably had her sign papers that will financially destroy her if she leaves.
And I believe Amber Heard, who HAS F**KING VIDEO OF HIS ABUSE.
The phone was just the final straw. Her friend described finding her with a busted lip and a bloody pillow on a previous occasion. The texts from Depp’s manager referred to an incident where he kicked her.
Your Google is broken.
=( I’m so sorry for her. I wish there was more we could do to help people, but an abuser’s hold is so strong. If she can maintain Zero Contact the next time she’s away from him, she might be able to pull free, but until she gets herself away the next time there’s pretty much nothing you can do except make sure she…
Ever met a narcissist? They are the nicest people ever when they want to impress you, get you on their side, or get something from you. They can make you feel like you are the most important person in the world to them while they’re talking to you. It’s a skill they develop early to get what they want.
Trump is going to represent all Americans—all Americans who sing his praises and never criticize him. Until he wants something contrary to their interests, in which case, they’re discarded too.
Yes. Abuse can completely rob a person of any sense of agency or free will. And abused women often don’t believe their partners will follow through on threats... How many women return to husbands who later kill them, because they didn’t believe they’d really do it?

There is exactly one way to stop it, and that’s for the intelligence agencies to praise and flatter Trump all the time.
OMFG I WENT AND WATCHED THAT NEWS REPORT. I thought this Jez page must be underplaying the incident, or that there was more to what the employee said, but not even close. He got that poor girl suspended for DESCRIBING him.
To varying degrees yes, but they are especially manipulable by those they see as high-status. Vladimir Putin fits that bill, and you can see how masterfully he’s working it.
He was the example the professor cited when we went over NPD in Abnormal Psych over a decade ago when I took it. A clinical psychologist I’m friends with on Facebook posted a warning about his obvious NPD a month or so before the election.
Republicans are more likely to blame a rape victim too, with the exception of armed stranger rapes.
Anyone so cut off from the world as to know nothing about the Cosby allegations is clearly unfit to decide anything.
You know, I’m with her. People have made Nickelback into a running gag, and they forget that these are actually human beings. Imagine how you’d feel if you couldn’t go a day without hearing people saying you were awful at your job.
Republicans fall in line. Democrats eat their own.
Absolutely there will be terrorism of things don’t go how they want. That’s how terrorism works. If we let them control us with the threat of violence, then we’ve just made terrorism a winning strategy.
He did great with women? He barely captured white women and lost horribly with every other shade!
