I can. I suspect she was drawn into this relationship in the same way every woman who’s ever fallen for a man with NPD was, and now she’s in that same powerless, gaslighted, vaguely miserable state we all live in until we figure out what’s really going on.

As awful as that photo is, the most horrific image associated with this case in my opinion is the one of the murderers and their wives celebrating right after the verdict. So happy and proud to have gotten away with torturing and killing a child. I can’t get that picture out of my head.
