I 100% agree. I tell everyone “you do you” and if you do you and are good with what you do, then truly you (the royal you, of course) don’t have time or desire to be judgmental and bitchy about other people’s choices. This covers ALL the mommy wars. nursing, co-sleeping, etc etc . Everyone just back up off of everyone

I stayed home for 20 months. When I went back to work I got a mixed review. Working moms congratulated me and rallied in support with daycare drama and tips and tricks. Stay at home mom friends were generally supportive but didn’t “get” why I'd go back to work. The least supportive person was my own stay at home mom

While the procedure gets more expensive as time goes on, it is reasonable to believe that a woman who is already stretched thin financially and finds out she is pregnant may need some time to come up with the $500-$700 needed for an abortion. So while it may be $700-$1000 after the first trimester or after 20 weeks

There are two basic reasons a woman has a late term abortion (I am not saying this covers 100% of late term abortions, but I would venture to say the vast majority, at least 95%):
1. Terrible complications
2. Lack of affordable/accessible early term abortion

My pleasure.

Unfortunately your agreement is made through misinformation, or lack of correct information. It is so very important to know that yes, many genetic anomalies can be detected with testing at the 12 week mark. However they are very expensive (I paid $1,500 out of pocket when I found out I was pregnant) and most

Sigh, it’s probably a Fox Snooze herpa-derple-derpahurr, AKA my father :(

Yeah and some special needs are very complicated but still manageable while tests can also reveal complications that are not. Babies born without fully formed brains, or missing half of their heart...”not compatible with life” and basically the placenta is life support until the real world at which point they live

Many genetic anomalies can be detected with testing at the 12 week mark, yes. However most insurance plans don’t cover them unless you fall into certain categories (familial risk). The abnormalities that are discovered at 18-20 weeks are largely physical “mistakes” caused by non-inherited genetics. The

What in that entire comment justifies this reply?!

1 bridesmaid for every 25 invited guests. That's the official rule according to me.

I hope that I did not come across as not valuing the work that is done. I absolutely do, and respect what the teachers do with and for our daughter and other children!

And a great designer like you! :)

To this end, I’m really curious about the state of daycare. My husband and I (and toddler) live and work in Chicago and pay an astronomical sum of money for daycare. $2,200 a month for a 5-day program that on paper looks to be amazing, and has wonderful reviews. We just started this month so I don’t have much to go

Also jake gets stabbed in every bad place and the boyfriend gets grazed in the arm? Come on Olivia!

sadly, I can absolutely hear my father saying this.

I'm on your team in this race. Also yes plz to the Mac cheese & hot dogs. I'm starving now.

Anyone know what it means to pop a hat? I am off to google...

This is awesome and so are you-Jezebel should have you host a “ask me anything” thing like they did with Sephora. This is way more interesting to me than makeup!

Bucket list item #1, updated to reflect: Lime Kiln Point. I google image searched and oh my goodness.
