And consider that this was premeditated. Those assholes *knew* they weren’t going to wear masks; they *knew* someone might ask them to comply; and they *knew* what they were going to do to that person once asked. Who just takes all of those steps “spur of the moment”? Put them in prison, and ruin them financially…

In all seriousness, why go to a place that has VERY PUBLICLY put into place rules that are posted EVERYWHERE, if you hate those rules, right? I hope they get to spend *plenty* of time here, enjoying NY hospitality in prison.

Well, yeah. Judges hate it when you evade service of process. Where there’s a will to evade service, there’s a way to get that person (actually or constructively) served. 

Facebook would happily put each kid into the Scream Extractor from Monster’s Inc. if it meant an additional 2% in profit.

I was friends with people like that.  I would unfollow them and then when it popped up it was their birthday, I’d check to see if they were still racist idiots.  If they were, unfriend and move on.

I’ve cut down on using the apps by hiding them on my phone (I have an iPhone and the apps are stuck in the app library). I found by doing this, I’m less likely to check them due to having to hunt for them.

I’m in my late 30s and deleted my Facebook 3 years ago and Instagram in January of this year. Never had Twitter, Snapchat, or TikTok. I’d long battled feelings of anxiety, low self-worth, high stress that I wasn’t keeping up with my peers, etc., that I could easily trace to the apps. I would catch myself in the middle…

Facebook won’t admit to helping with an insurrection against the US government so why would they admit to this?

It’s sickening what these women went through just to get someone to listen to them. No amount of hearings, finger pointing, or Senate speeches can make up for the failures of government to protect or even believe these young ladies.
