I saw the leaked messages and to me I didn’t read that she was using him and planned to be out after a year, it looked like she was having a hard time and saying if nothing changed she would have to leave, and a year was the time she was willing to wait.

Do not give a fat rat’s ass. Mental illness is not an excuse to kill. And the idea that he should be spared justice because of it is disgusting. Millions of people with mental health struggles (myself included) do not harm anyone.

Is he so mentally ill that he didn’t know he was doing something wrong when he murdered nine people in a church? Was he hallucinating and didn’t know what he was doing? No and No. His mental illness does not excuse his actions.

He was found competent to stand trial, so it doesn’t matter to me.

But no white people died so it wasn’t terrorism.

They’re southern racists, the kind that don’t want to live next door to black people and freak out when their little Becky brings a black boyfriend home. They’re not the I-want-black-people-dead, nazi-type; the nazis seem to be concentrated in the North & Midwest.

This is why I can’t ever be against the death penalty. Too many pieces of shit who deserve a slow, drawn-out death.

Prison for the rest of life. If he is executed he will always be “remembered” by racists and others of his ilk. By putting him away for life, he will gradually be forgotten by the outside world, only to become a footnote.

I’ve been thinking about how I would react to this kind of thing and I’m pretty confident that person would just go to hell in my mind. No way I am enabling or covering for someone who does horrific things.

He deserved all the awards. Every one of them. Even the technical ones that no one cares about.

I would SO do that. My problem is that my daughter is literally the nicest person I’ve ever met. I worry that she would leave with a guy in a stained tshirt and a windowless van just to avoid offending him. I’m trying to model bitchy behavior for her, which is something definitely in my wheel house.

I wish him a truly painful death, preferably by setting him on fire.

I’m always saying this, but one of the really hard things about being a parent is knowing that there are men out there who want to do this to a child. Like that’s their greatest desire. My daughter is now 11 so it’s still bad, but when she and her brother a little younger I would just start to lose my shit in Target…
