I’m convinced that this Link is in fact the Hero of Time himself, resurrected 100 years after being killed by Ganon, and thrust into the ensuing decline, which would be the very “Decline” mentioned in the timeline diagram. The high-tech sentinels scattered about the land may be war robots left over from the Sealing

Mr. Aonuma and the folks at the NoA Treehouse livestream mentioned how whether they sneak around at a safe distance and use arrows or rush in with melee combat significantly affects how easy or difficult the game feels, and how players would tend to develop their own preferences based on their tolerance for difficulty

This must be an old post. Nowadays it’s incredible if you can publicly admit to liking Undertale and emerge unscathed. At this point, it feels like the backlash has become more cringeworthy than the fandom ever was.

I’m not even going to bother looking at the comment section for this.

It’s called Undercover Cops. It’s a beat-’em-up arcade game from 1992.

I like it.

Maybe it’s plastic? That’s not as classy, but it would explain how it got down there without cracking or breaking in the first place.

I’m getting a lot of shock in the comments from people who are still getting over the loss of Iwata. This is understandable; Iwata was famous as being the “anti-suit”, the guy who was “one of us”, and the one whose passion affected the company’s efforts for the better, setting it apart from its competition. Iwata fit

Still waiting for that update that lets you recommend something multiple times. :)

Times like these make me wish this person really existed.

This person probably didn’t read the whole article.

The Steel Empire box art looks like it could have been drawn by Hayao Miyazaki.

“[...]Worst case the board brings in an outside hire that burns Nintendo’s legacy for quick cash so the investors can make a killing and all the IP ends up with EA or Ubisoft.”

Automobiles weren’t an American invention...

Oh no, oh no, oh no...What if Miyamoto’s next?

Actually, this is pretty awful for Nintendo. You know how hard someone like him is to come by? I’m seriously worried as to how Nintendo is going cope without his guidance going forward. I wouldn’t be surprised if this caused a significant drop in the company’s stock value.

I don’t really understand this instance, though. The animators drew these frames by hand. What’s their excuse?

Yikes! I hadn’t noticed. I’d fallen down a link rabbit hole and somehow E3 coverage led me all the way to this.

Great find, thanks! I’ll, ah, try to keep it in mind when I’m thinking or talking about the game.

Interesting! Do you mind letting me know where you heard that? It would be a major relief if I knew. Not that I don’t trust you, of course. You just have no idea how long I’ve been looking for a statement like the one in your comment. I need to see this.
