Aaand you've hit console role playing game cliche #56. Zeigfried's Contradiction.

I pick the third one, heh.

Okay then, everything's settled. Guys, stop recommending my post now, it was a mistake.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about!

Oh dear. My apologies! I am so sincerely sorry. I guess I've just seen too many people make such over-the-top statements and be completely serious about them. Poe's Law and all that. This is infinitely embarrassing. Once again, sorry. I feel like such an awful person! *_*

Whoa, calm down a bit, huh?

Alright, fine! I'll watch it already! I've been putting it off for a while, but now I guess I'll HAVE to see if I can move my schedule around. You made me have to do this! ;)

A variation of the abstract battle background can still be seen in Pokémon XY (For example, I've noticed it when Team Rocket was introduced in the first episode). However, I don't recall seeing the background in battles. I kind of miss it!

Forget everything. Just make Ash win more, make Team Rocket competent again, and find a decent replacement for Misty and Brock. Everything else comes second.

This one rhymes!

Excellent question, my friend! Now, let's see what the internet has to say.

Meh, this one's not even that bad.

Fair enough. I was about to bring up the absence of Eva Unit 01, but *spoiler alert* it isn't even mechanical, come to think of it. *End spoilers* That and, well, you can't please everybody at the same time.

Does this even count as a "robot?"

It's so cute...

Funny. I was expecting a tirade of disapproval directed at Patricia Hernandez for even thinking of posting this, but in general we've all managed to agree that, yeah, this is a bad thing. What a relief. All in all, it's a small step forward for the Kotaku commentariat.

Your safety was off? Then you're obviously not using Google.

Also funny: the "Why I'm a PC Gamer" post has more views and comments. Once again, I have no idea what to assume from that, and you could assume anything you thought made sense (and no doubt people will,) but it's interesting, isn't it?
