The sequins will fly!

alternate Katy Perry song titles with more subtlety:

I don’t think you do have to choose sides. Even if there were a feud, I wouldn’t think anyone had to choose sides, but what I mean is, I don’t think there is any feud. There are no signs of it other than pop-culture writers reading an awful lot into what appears to me to be, in reality, nothing at all.

Now playing

I’d starting paying attention if/when The Thin White Duke weighed in and had a little word with Princess Bubblegum about songs titled “1984”. I’m sure he’s above this brand of pettiness/silliness/PR shenanigans but a David Bowie-versus-Katy Perry feud? Now that would be something to behold.

Am I crazy or drunk, or is that a small dick on Taylor’s elbow?

Oh snap! Next they will have their bodyguards glower at one another!

Here’s an interesting piece on it:

I’ve mentioned before how much I love these articles (always fun when you pretend to be a vampire who lived through these decades on a weekly basis) but wow this.

Thank you for publishing Scott’s in-uniform picture. So many other outlets purposely published less flattering photos of him. Not only did Scott not deserve to die at the hands of a crazed cop, but he deserves the respect he is due for serving our country.

the fact that there is a French tabloid just called “Oops!” is pretty much the greatest thing in the world.

If Kate Moss called me a basic bitch I’d get it emblazoned on a t-shirt and proudly tell everyone the back story at every opportunity.

I currently live in Milwaukee. I’ve lived in Wisco for all but two years of my life and love it here. I’m from up north, but came to MKE for grad school. If you have any questions about the city, state, or culture, please feel free to contact me. Moving is overwhelming (I know, I’m moving to a small town about an hour

Milwaukee is a great city. You’ll be fine.

Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, and Glendale all have really nice areas, are close to the city, and are by the lake. Pretty good school districts too (not sure if that’s something you have to consider or not). I would stay away from Brown Deer and West Allis (there’s very cheap real estate in West Allis and I have a few

I grew up in Milwaukee and my parents still live in a suburb, so I’m biased, but it’s really an up-and-coming cool city to be IMO. SO many good restaurants, and lots of stuff to do in the summer. Like someone else said, the winter can really suck, but you live in MA so I think you know how to deal with that.

I did my undergrad in Milwaukee! It’s actually a pretty cool city, with nice museums, parks, bars and restaurants. It’s always hard to relocate, and you’re going to HATE the winter, but people are extremely friendly and the summers are awesome. I know it sounds corny, but be sure to check out the Wisconsin State Fair!

I always applaud appetizer-based diplomacy.
